Lubomirski Palace is located at 10 Zelazna Brama Square. The history of the place dates back to the 18th century, when the Radziwill family bought the northern areas of the suburban town of Wielopole and built a palace. In 1730, Jan Zygmunt Deybel was the owner of the property. In 1760 he began rebuilding the palace in late Baroque style, according to a design by Jakub Fontana. However, the construction work was not completed. In 1790, Alexander Lubomirski was the owner of the residence along with the surrounding land. In 1791-93 the palace was rebuilt in classicist style according to the design of Joachim Hempel. In 1816 the palace became the property of General Izydor Krasinski, then in 1828-34 it belonged to the government of the Kingdom of Poland, which housed offices and a lazaret during the November Uprising. In 1934, the property was purchased by financier Abraham Simon Cohen, who remodeled the building so that it would yield higher profits. The palace housed small apartments, stores, stalls and a Jewish prayer house. In 1928, Waclaw Moszkowski became the owner of the palace, who increased it by a floor and turned it into a rental house. In 1938 the palace was purchased by the Warsaw City Hall. It was to undergo renovation, but the outbreak of war stood in the way. During the war, the palace was burned down by the German occupiers. Between 1947 and 1950, the palace was rebuilt in classicist style. In 1970 it was decided to move the palace, which was successfully turned 78 degrees.
Today, the building houses the Academy of Social Sciences on the first floor and the Business Center Club on the floors.
