This Privacy Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Privacy Policy") sets out the rules for the processing and protection of your personal data in connection with the use of the https://apply.www.uns.lodz.pl  website (the "Website"), including the use of cookies.

  4. Your personal data was obtained from you when using the services available through the website available at: https://apply.www.uns.lodz.pl, in particular, when filling out the registration form, contact form, and course and training purchase form.
  5. For services other than those mentioned in this policy available through the website available at: https://apply.www.uns.lodz.pl  related to the processing of personal data, information regarding the processing of personal data in connection with such services may be regulated in separate documents/information regarding such other services related to the processing of personal data available on individual subpages of the website.
  6. In addition, when you use the https://apply.www.uns.lodz.pl  website, we acquire usage data (date, time spent on the website or IP No.), which are transmitted each time the website is called up by the browser you use. This data is aggregated and anonymous, so it is not possible to identify the person using the site. This data is not transferred to third parties.

II. SPECIFIC INFORMATION REGARDING DATA PROCESSING IN THE REGISTRATION FORM SERVICE

  1. We process your personal data provided when filling in the registration form for the purpose of reserving a place for you on the student list and for the purpose of sending you information on the enrollment procedure along with the files of documents to be completed as part of this procedure, and the legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(a) RODO - that is, your consent given when filling in the registration form.
  2. You have the right to withdraw the consent you have given for data processing at any time. Withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of the processing performed on the basis of consent given before its withdrawal.
  3. After the end of the service of booking a place on the student list, we will process your data on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation RODO - in order to realize the legitimate interest of the Academy of Social Sciences in the form of the need to ensure the possibility of investigating, establishing or defending against claims.
  4. Provision of data is voluntary, however, failure to do so will prevent us from providing the service of booking a place on the student list and sending relevant information and documents regarding the recruitment process.
  5. Your data will be kept for the duration of the operation of the registration form or until you revoke your consent, up to the expiration of the statute of limitations for possible claims established in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code.
  6. Your personal data may be accessed by entities to which the University of Social Sciences entrusts the processing of data on a contractual basis, in particular, entities providing IT services, as well as entities that can access them on the basis of the law.

III. SPECIFIC INFORMATION REGARDING DATA PROCESSING IN THE CONTACT FORM SERVICE

  1. We process your personal data in order to send you a reply by e-mails, to provide application process, and the legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(a) RODO - that is, your consent given when filling out the contact form.
  2. You have the right to withdraw the consent you have given for data processing at any time. Withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of the processing performed on the basis of consent given before its withdrawal.
  3. Once you have submitted a response to a message from the contact form, we will process your data on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation RODO - in order to realize the legitimate interest of the Academy of Social Sciences in the form of the need to ensure the possibility of investigating, establishing or defending against claims.
  4. Provision of data is voluntary, failure to do so will prevent us from sending an appropriate response.
  5. Your data will be kept for the duration of the operation of the contact form or until you withdraw your consent, up to the maximum period of limitation for possible claims established in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code.
  6. Your personal data may be accessed by entities to which the Academy of Social Sciences entrusts the processing of data on a contractual basis, in particular IT service providers, as well as entities that can access them under the law.

IV. SPECIFIC INFORMATION REGARDING THE DATA PROCESSING IN THE SERVICE OF PURCHASE FORM OF COURSES AND TRAININGS

  1. We process your personal data in the form of your first name address, last name, telephone number, physical address and email address provided when filling out the purchase form for courses and trainings in order to provide the service of selling your participation in a course or training offered by the Academy of Social Sciences, and the legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit:
    a) RODO - i.e. your consent given when completing the purchase form for courses and training,
    b) RODO - that is, the contract for the provision of services or actions taken at your request to conclude it,
    c)    RODO - i.e. a legal obligation on us, e.g. related to accounting̨,
    d)    RODO - i.e. our legitimate interest in processing your data for the purpose of establishing, asserting or defending possible claims, processing your data for analytical and statistical purposes.
  2. You have the right to withdraw the consent you have given for data processing at any time. Withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of consent given before its withdrawal.
  3. After the course/training participation service has been provided, we will process your data on the basis of Article 6(1)(c) of the General Data Protection Regulation RODO - in order to fulfill fiscal and accounting obligations, and on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation RODO - in order to realize the legitimate interest of the University of Social Sciences in the form of the need to ensure the possibility of investigating, establishing or defending against claims.
  4. Provision of your data is voluntary, however, failure to do so will prevent us from providing the service of selling your participation in the course or training.
  5. Your data will be kept for the duration of the operation of the service of selling participation in courses and training or until you withdraw your consent, up to the expiration of the limitation period for possible claims established in accordance with the provisions of the Civil Code.
  6. Your personal data may be accessed by entities to which the Academy of Social Sciences entrusts the processing of your data on a contractual basis, in particular IT service providers, as well as entities that can access them under the law.

V. DATA SECURITY

  1. Academy of Social Sciences has appropriate policies and procedures in place to secure personal and usage data from unauthorized loss, misuse, alteration or destruction.
  2. Data entered by users is secured by SSL protocol.
  3. Access to the administration of the Website is made using an authentication mechanism
  4. In order to ensure the security of the use of the Service, including the data provided, the University of Social Sciences recommends the use of up-to-date and legal anti-virus software.

VI. COOKIES

  1. The Service uses "cookies." Cookies are small text files downloaded when you use the Service, which are stored on your terminal device and then read when your web browser connects.

The information obtained by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
